The global pandemic, caused by Covid-19, has created heartache for brides and grooms around the world. Couples have had to make difficult decisions about whether to postpone their big day or go ahead with the strict restrictions in place, knowing it won’t be quite the dream day they’d planned.
Italy was the first place in Europe to be hit by the pandemic and it had an enormous effect on us all. As wedding planners, we tried to manage our businesses and find a way to carry on doing what we love – and it’s not over, Covid-19 is still among us.
Unfortunately, there are still many rules and protocols in place that have to be followed, such as temperature checking, extra hygiene and cleanliness guidelines, mask wearing plus the risk of last-minute travel restrictions and periods of quarantine. In some places, parties, dancing and even gathering for photos are discouraged.
It’s hard to know what to do, but I want to reassure you that at Impression Villas & Weddings I have been supporting my couples every step of the way – and will continue to do so – to help them make the right decision. I have helped many reschedule their weddings and have not asked them to take available slots in the depths of winter (unless they have wanted to!).
We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future but I guarantee to support you and your guests to move accommodation bookings and make sure you still have the wedding of your dreams, when you want it.
